MEET JARED
A Trusted Conservative
After my recent State Senate race, I was humbled by the overwhelming support I received from across our community. It was a privilege to connect with so many of you who share a deep love for Chugiak, Eagle River, and JBER. Your calls, messages, and personal encouragement left a lasting impression, reminding me of the shared values that bind us together.
In the months following that race, I heard a consistent message from local leaders, neighbors, and friends: we need a strong, trusted voice on the Anchorage Assembly to advocate for the values and priorities that make our community special. Their faith in my leadership, combined with the example set by dedicated public servants like Mark Littlefield, inspired me to continue the fight for the principles I hold dear.
That’s why I’m running for the Anchorage Assembly. I’m committed to ensuring safe neighborhoods, fostering a vibrant environment for local businesses, and protecting the unique community spirit that defines our way of life. The radical Anchorage Assembly is out of control with spending and government overreach, jeopardizing the well-being of our residents. While the majority on the Assembly want to turn our community into Anchorage, I am committed to doing everything possible to protect local control and preserve the character of Chugiak, Eagle River, and JBER. I will fight to restore fiscal responsibility and keep government overreach in check, ensuring that the Assembly works for the people, not against them.
For those of you new to this campaign, here’s a little about me. My deep connection to Alaska began when I was eight years old, living in Eagle River after my father was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base. My family cherished our Alaskan adventures and maintained our ties to the state even after the military moved us away. I returned to Eagle River as soon as I graduated college and I am thrilled this is where I will raise my son, Noah.
I spent a few years working in Juneau for Governor Dunleavy, negotiating labor contracts on behalf of the State. I took on some of the most powerful special interests in Alaska—and won. I focused on bringing accountability and common sense to the process, qualities that are often lacking in politics. I’m proud of the results I achieved and even more proud that I emerged from that challenging environment true to my principles.
With your support, I’ll work tirelessly to uphold the traditions and values that make this community a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Join me in this journey to build a stronger future for Chugiak, Eagle River, and JBER. Together, we can ensure that our voices are heard and that our community continues to thrive. Thank you for believing in me and for standing by my side in this important effort.
